Favsta is an outstanding osteopath. I have been a patient for several years requiring treatment for ongoing lumbar spinal issues (major surgery 2018) and upper shoulder/neck realignment. My pain free quality of life is because of Favsta's osteopathic skills, knowledge and experience. She is a dedicated medical professional of the highest caliber.--- R R ---
I had heard about an osteopath out west known as the "Body Detective," so when I encountered a recurring injury that didn’t seem to improve with physiotherapy or chiropractic care I didn't hesitate to get contact.
Favsta is an absolute magician and is really passionate about her work! She conducts a thorough assessment—I'm talking head to toe, inside and out—and will pinpoint issues, whether you’re aware of them or not. If she can’t resolve the issue right away, she’ll give you a clear, realistic estimate of how many sessions you might need to fully recover. And if it’s beyond her scope, she won’t hesitate to refer you for scans or to a specialist, while still providing ongoing support to help you heal.--- T F ---
Favsta is fantastic. She is very thorough, can really get into those muscles if you need her to, and is also, at the same time, very gentle. You can tell she is extremely passionate about her work and genuinely wants you to feel your best!
If you need a new osteopath, don't hesitate to book with her today.
About Osteopathic Treatment

Immerse yourself in compassionate care at Fernz Osteopathic Clinic. The techniques used are based on the philosophies and teachings of Dr Andrew Taylor Still and Dr William Garner Sutherland. They believed that the body has it's own innate self-healing, self-regulating and self-adjusting capabilities. Altered body mechanics affect the health of the musculoskeletal system. A healthy body depends on the reciprocal interaction of all its systems (circulatory, respiratory, vascular, musculoskeletal, etc). 'Somatic dysfunction', caused by physical imbalances, strains, and external forces, can impair the body's ability to do so. We do not simply focus on treating your symptoms but try to detect the source of the issue to bring balance to all the systems of the body, thus facilitating the body's own ability to heal itself.
Treatment is non-invasive, and hands-on which includes joint mobilisation, manipulation and soft tissue releases, that help create space to enable better fluid flow and drainage. Treatments are generally gentle and do not cause any undue discomfort. Structural, cranial, and visceral osteopathy are offered at the clinic.Examples of injuries that can be treated:-Chronic complex and long-standing injuries
-Back pain (acute or chronic)
-Neck pain, stiffness, headaches, migraines
-Structural or alignment issues
-Sports-related sprains or strains
-Post-injury or surgery rebalancing
-Mobility or joint issues.People with disabilities, people who have suffered from life-altering conditions such as stroke, developmental anomalies or neurodiversity can also benefit from osteopathic treatment.
