She draws from her personal life experiences and has an innate ability to connect with you regardless of your cultural background.
Immerse yourself in compassionate care at Fernz Osteopathic Clinic. Grounded by osteopathic principles, the techniques used are based on the philosophies and teachings of Dr Andrew Taylor Still and Dr William Garner Sutherland. They believed that the body has it's own innate self-healing, self-regulating and self-adjusting capabilities. Altered body mechanics affect the health of the musculoskeletal system. A healthy body is reflective of the smooth functioning of all its systems (circulatory, respiratory, vascular, musculoskeletal, etc). Dysfunction, caused by physical imbalances, strains, and external forces, can impair the body's ability to self-regulate. With this in mind, we do not simply focus on treating your symptoms but try to detect the source of the issue to bring balance to all the systems of the body, thus facilitating the body's ability to heal itself.
Treatment is non-invasive, holistic and hands-on which includes joint mobilisation, manipulation, and soft tissue releases. This helps create space to enable better fluid flow and drainage to the areas of dysfunction. Treatments are generally gentle and do not cause any undue discomfort. The whole person is taken into consideration and uniquely tailored to the individual's needs at the time.
